A few weeks ago I was contacted by HeroFest to illustrate the Cosplay Hall for them, and after a short exchange on requirements and sketch review I created this piece. I wanted to showcase a playful image of a cosplayer's workshop, full of various tools and projects, with the colsplayer themselves diligently working on a quilt showcasing the hall map. I used vibrant colours so that the business of the scene feels joyful, and carries through the excitement of creating things :)
